The Glades, Kiele Sanchez, Behind the Scenes Video of Actors

Working on a show can involve long hours in less-than-perfect conditions, but the stars of A&E’s new drama “The Glades” don’t seem to mind too much. In the clip below, which Zap2it has first, Kiele Sanchez and Matt Passmore take you on a brief tour of their life on set (the show films on locations in Florida and Georgia).

And if you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll even see a slightly embarrassed Sanchez hide one of her bras that she’d apparently forgotten to clean up before letting the camera into her trailer. (more…)

THE GLADES, About the Show, Kiele Sanchez as Callie Cargill

A&E’s dramatic series THE GLADES™ follows Jim Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who gets shot by his captain after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his wife. After being exiled from the department, Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle of nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Only this town outside the Florida Everglades isn’t quite as idyllic as he thought, as he finds people keep turning up murdered. Each case pulls Longworth off the golf course and reluctantly into his element as one of the sharpest homicide detectives to wear a badge.

Between practicing his short game, trying to get a date with Callie – a quick-witted, beautiful medical student with a 12 year-old son and a husband in prison – and trying to solve countless homicide cases, Longworth’s transition to his new surroundings is a bit more difficult than expected. He’s realizing the skies in this new town are always sunny…with a chance of homicide.

A Perfect Getaway, Theatrical/Unrated Director’s Cut

A Perfect Getaway

We watched the director’s cut of A Perfect Getaway so I can’t speak to the theatrical version or whether it was different. But on the directors cut we say Yay-hoo-boo! We enjoyed this movie far more than expected by the ho-hum “honeymooners” trailer. Timothy Olyphant was excellent and we were cheering for him and his girlfriend by the end. This movie had subtlety and action and you really will enjoy the second half more than the first. The first half of the film was a lot of storyline building and character development and some things just don’t make sense in hindsight, but it was a really good weekend flick! (more…)
