A&E Ole Networks completed its 2011 Upfront, attended by over 350 guests including advertisers, advertising agencies, special guests and business representatives, who discovered new business opportunities and were presented with new programming that the A&E Channels (History and The Biography Channel) will broadcast next year.
The presentations took place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of October at the premises of the new Hyatt Regency Curaçao, hosted by Eduardo Ruiz, Senior Vice-President of A&E Olé Networks and Cesar Sabroso, Vice-President of Marketing for the company.
Videos featuring the highlights of each channel were shown throughout the presentation, based on research that corroborate the growth and leadership of the three signals and the investment opportunities and product integration with the programming of A&E, History and The Biography Channel. During the Upfront, A&E Olé Networks showcased multi-platform packages (television, off-air marketing, mobile telephony) and advertising opportunities on digital media, including web pages, BeeTagg and social networks.
“We are very pleased and flattered with the comments, enthusiasm and responsiveness of the advertisers and advertising agencies to our presentations, projects and programming for 2011,” said Eduardo Ruiz. “We are confident that 2011 will be a year of success and growth for our group channels, which continue to set standards in pay television throughout Latin America.”
These presentations were also attended by the cast of new A&E series The Glades, Matt Passmore and Kiele Sanchez, as well as History host Julio Bracho and Dennis Rogers from the Superhumans series.
Moreover, A&E’s presentation ended with a live performance by Chilean singer Beto Cuevas. “The success of the A&E Olé Networks 2011 Upfront was mostly due to the fact that we strategically combined programming content, innovative research on our audience demographics and real 360º opportunities that were shown right in front of a demanding audience composed by Latin American advertisers,” César Sabroso, Vice-President of Marketing for A&E Ole Networks, concluded.
More than 350 guests convened at the Hyatt Regency Curaçao for the company’s presentation of new offers and content.
