Uploaded by dreadcentral. – Watch feature films and entire TV shows.

The first trailer for 30 Days of Night: Dark Days has debuted at the San Diego Comic Con and despite being a world away, 28DLA has the clip here. In the first trailer Kiele Sanchez has replaced Melissa George as character Stella Oleson and events now take place in a vampire infested Los Angeles, rather than Alaska. As well, a vampire character, with a very biblical name, called Lilith (Mia Kirshner) leads her dark forces against a motley group of survivors. The film also stars Harold Perrineau (Felon, “Lost”), Diora Baird (Wedding Crashers) and Rhys Coiro (“24”, “Entourage”) (Dread). Have a watch of the, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, fangtastic clip for 30 Days of Night: Dark Days inside. (more…)

Remember that movie where the vampires came to the town in Alaska during the 30 long days of night and killed pretty much everyone? Yeah, I liked that one too.

Obviously a few more people must agree with me because now we’ve got a sequel to 30 Days Of Night known as 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. Want to know more of what its all about?

If so, check out all the info you could ever need, including the brand new trailer that just dropped, right here and after the break.

It’s been almost a year since the Alaskan town of Barrow’s population was decimated by vampires during its annual month-long sunset. Riddled with grief over the death of her husband, bound by nightmares and void of all emotions beyond hate and sorrow, Stella (Kiele Sanchez) has spent the past months traveling the world, trying to convince others that vampires exist.

Met with skepticism and laughter, Stella is ready to throw in the towel when a group of lost souls (Rhys Coiro, Diora Baird and Harold Perrineau) offers an incredible opportunity: the chance to exact revenge upon Lilith (Mia Kirshner), the vampire queen responsible for the assault on Stella’s sleepy Alaskan town. Sony Pictures, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, Starring Kiele (A Perfect Getaway) Sanchez, who takes over the role of ‘Stella’

We recently caught up with Sony’s 30 Days of Night: Dark Days co-scripter (with Steve Niles) and director Ben Ketai, who filled us in on the status of his sequel to director David Slade’s 2007 vampire chiller 30 Days of Night.

Dread was on-set during the principal photography of Dark Days last November in Vancouver.

We’re in the last couple of weeks of post-production,” Ketai, who previously helmed the 30 Days web series, said of Dark Days in early April. “It’s the home stretch here. We are in that last stage where every little bit you put into it makes it that much better: the sound, the color, and every new effects shot that goes in – it’s really exciting.

The New Year, 2010 is here, and with it comes a clean slate and a host of new movies, series and games to get excited about – from killer fish in three dimensions to warmongering angels to the long-awaited return of two horror icons to the screen (and your nightmares). In chronological order, behold our top 10 reasons why 2010 could be a great year for horror fans.

The Return of Vicious Vampire Films (January 8 & beyond)

The tail end of the ‘00s may have belonged to sparkly vampires, but in 2010, their vicious brethren are taking the genre back to its bloody roots. First up is Daybreakers. Ethan Hawke plays a vamp scientist in a world dominated by bloodthirsty vampires who feed on humanity. Later this year, Twilight’s Cam Gigandet and True Blood’s Stephen Moyer team up with Paul Bettany’s warrior monk in the summer flick Priest, loosely based on the Korean comic about a shotgun-toting, vampire-hunting clergyman. And keep an eye out for those LA bloodsucker types in 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, which picks up as Stella (Kiele Sanchez) heads to California to exact revenge for her husband’s death.
